“Stepping Stone” works towards the integration of new refugees who wish to remain in Greece, offering them basic education, support, and internship opportunities. In total, 741 individuals have benefited from the program, and 200 (51 women and 149 men) have found work mainly in the following sectors: tourism, catering, cleaning services, customer service, telecommunications, agriculture, and construction.
In 2022, over 70 people attended training sessions in high-demand sectors, and 118 individuals made new work connections, expanding the network of collaborating companies and organizations. Finally, in the entrepreneurship program that started in November 2022, 10 individuals were selected to develop their business ideas with the aim of setting up their own business in Greece.
