CHEESEMAKING SEMINARS AT THE ARCADIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

Registrations open on Monday, November 13

 

Registrations are now open for the Cheesemaking seminar organized by the Center for Agri-food Entrepreneurship in Messinia (CAEM).

The seminar will be held at the conference hall of the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tripoli. Its duration will be 34 hours, including the following theoretical and practical modules:


  • Hygiene and safety (production – processing)
  • Educational visit to a sheep farm – Milk production
  • Familiarization with the dairy premises / Equipment demonstration
  • Production of feta cheese 1
  • Production of feta cheese 2
  • Production of yellow cheeses
  • Production of anthotiro and mizithra cheeses
  • Cheese production costing
  • Organoleptic assessment of cheeses


The experiential educational nature of the seminars aims at developing entrepreneurship education and improving the trainees’ production skills.

After the completion of the seminars, the trainees will be given a certificate of attendance.

The educational seminars in Tripoli will be held with the support of the Peloponnese Region and the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
