In October 2013, the "Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos" Foundation, expressing its awareness of educational issues, undertook the project of reconstructing the Gargaliani Kindergarten playground area. 

The Gargaliani Kindergarten, in keeping up with the modern educational principles, organizes voluntary cleanings of beaches and roads, distributes ecological material with advice created by the children, and organizes recycling feasts and visits to places of environmental interest, such as the Yalova lagoon.
