ACTIONS AIMED AT THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT OF KALAMATA AND SCHIZA
The Municipality of Kalamata, in collaboration with the "Captain Vassilis and Carmen Constantakopoulos" Foundation and the “Aegean Rebreath” volunteer divers’ group, is organizing volunteer actions aimed at protecting the marine environment.
On Saturday, December 2, 2017, between 10.00 and 15.00:
- A group of divers will dive at the main waterfront, in order to remove polluting waste from the port’s waters.
- A volunteer cleanup of the coastal zone will take place at the western beach.
On Sunday, December 3, between 9.00 and 16.00, the hoisting of abandoned nets will take place in the marine area of the island of Schiza, with the support of the Municipality of Pylos-Nestor.
