“EXPORTING QUALITY AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS 2016”
For the third time, the Captain Vassilis Foundation and the George and Victoria Karelias Foundation are joining forces to organize a two-day forum for the support and promotion of exports of Messinia called “EXPORTING QUALITY AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS 2016”. The forum will take place on May 27-29, 2016 at the conference venue of the Filoxenia Hotel in Kalamata. The forum is officially supported by the Panhellenic Exporters Association and the Messinia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The forum aims to inform producers on the possibilities and prospects to export their agricultural products abroad. Distinguished industry speakers will make informative and inspiring presentations on export prospects, marketing issues and new market trends. Following the presentations will be four themed workshops analyzing key export issues.
At the same time, producers from Messinia will have an opportunity to meet with major buyers from international markets. Export-oriented companies are invited to network and participate in B2B meetings with buyers from the Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia, Belgium, England and Cyprus. During these meetings, companies can promote their export products (standardized-packaged samples) and give out informational material (brochures, product catalogues, etc).
The selection criteria for the companies that will take part in the business meetings are:
a) Export experience (existing export activity, participation in exhibitions and business missions)
b) Availability of informational – promotional material in Greek and English (promotional brochure, roll up banner 2 x 0.8 m, etc)
c) Availability of product samples
The official language of the business meetings is English. Participation for all participants and export companies is free.
